On April 2nd, two delegates from Hertford College, University of Oxford visited our college and provided a chance for our students to know about the elite university. Ms. Caroline Rice, administrator for international programs and conferences and Mr. Andrew Hemingway, EFL director of Studies, English language programs introduced University of Oxford and the current summer programs in their college to our students from History and Archaeology Department. After the introduction, they had a meeting with Prof. Han Jianye, director of Experimental and Training Center of Comprehensive Applied Arts and Prof. Gu Jun, director of Department of History and Archaeology. Both sides reached an initial intention to cooperate in the field of short-term summer programs for students. Hopefully, students in our college will have a chance to catch a glimpse of the famous university in the summer of 2014. To show our sincerity, Prof. Zhang Baoxiu, dean of our college met with the delegates and expressed her willingness to develop cooperation with them and create more foreign exchange chances for our students.
